Pride Chain Donates Hundreds of Presents
to Area Foster Kids

Thanks to the generosity of the Pride Chain employees and its customers, hundreds of abused and neglected children in foster care will receive many specials items on their wish lists this year. Now part of an annual office tradition, Pride employees select and purchase a child’s “Christmas wish” from the “Giving Tree”. In response to requests from store managers, additional trees were placed at many Pride locations so that more employees and customers could participate. The response this year was overwhelming and more than 300 gifts were donated to needy children.

In addition, Pride also sells $1 ornaments in its stores to benefit MaryAnne’s Kids. In past years, the sale of these ornaments has resulted in a $7,500 donation to this charity.
